Wizz Air to expand at Malmö Airport by launching two new routes to Romania
Wizz Air will launch two new routes from Malmö Airport ahead of the winter program of 2024, to Bucharest and Iasi respectively. The new routes will be operated twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
As one of the fastest growing airlines in Europe, Wizz Air will further expand its vast network and add two new routes from Malmö Airport. Starting on October 29th, Wizz Air will operate routes to Bucharest and Iasi in Romania. Operated twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the new routes will further strengthen the regions connection to southeastern Europe.

Starting on October 29th, 2024, Wizz Air will operate Malmö Airport (MMX) – Bucharest (OTP) twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, using a A321CEO aircraft with a seat capacity of 230.Â
Starting on October 29th, 2024, Wizz Air will operate Malmö Airport (MMX) – Iasi (IAS) twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, using a A320CEO aircraft with a seat capacity of 180. Â
