How to pre-book
Enter the date and time of entry and exit as well as any campaign code. The system will show you which parking areas and services you can choose from. Click on “More info” to find out more about the parking area or service.

Continue to payment
Continue to payment and enter your personal data and payment details. Once you have booked, you will receive confirmation by e-mail.

It is a good idea to print out the map and directions so it is easier for you to find the right parking area.

Frequently asked questions

I have pre-booked but took a ticket at the entrence, what do I do?

When leaving the parking lot, contace customer service via the intercom at the exit and they will help let you out after checking your booking. Do not pay with the ticket you took at the entrence.


How far in advance of my planned entry can I book parking?

Usually about 12 months, but that may vary depending on how we set up our campaigns.


Can I book on short notice?

You cannot book parking if you plan to arrive at the parking lot within 1 hour.


Do I have to come at the exact time I entered for the parking space I booked?

In order for the system to reserve a space, a time must be entered for both entry and exit. You can arrive at the car park you booked up to 2 hours before the time you entered in your booking and exit up to 3 hours after the exit time you entered. You do not need to pay extra or change your booking if you stay within this timeframe.


What happens if I park too soon or leave too late?

The regular daily price for the area will be charged when you park too soon or leave too late. You will be charged when you exit the parking area.


Can I extend my parking if it has already begun?

No, you can’t. You pay the amount exceeding the prepaid total when you exit.


How long can I park my car?

The maximum parking time may vary by season and product but is never more than 90 days no matter whether you prebooked or not. The shortest parking time when prebooking is 24 hours.  


What does it cost if I return home later than I indicated when I booked my parking?

If you exceed the prebooked parking time, an additional fee up to the maximum normal hourly or daily fee is charged. You pay the additional fee using your card at the car park exit gate.


When pre-booking, do I get a specific parking space?

No, you will not get assigned a specific parking space. Some of our parking lots have certain parking spaces are reserved for special parking needs, and these are clearly marked with signs. Besides these spaces, you are welcome to park in any parking space.


Pre-book parking

Do I have to book my parking?

No, you can also come here and select a parking space in an area where there is space available. However, special campaign prices are only available to people who have booked in advance on-line. With a booked space, you are guaranteed parking in the area you selected.


When are the parking areas open?

Our parking areas and Customer Service are open every day, around the clock.


How do I know that my booking has been completed?

A booking confirmation has been sent to the given e-mail address.


Can I cancel or rebook my parking?

Your booking can be cancelled at no charge up to 2 hours before your booked entry time. No money is refunded for a late cancellation or for unused parking time. You can rebook up to 2 hours before your booked entry time.

What credit cards can I use to pre-book?

You can pay with American Express, Mastercard and Visa.


How do I pay for my pre-booked parking?

You pay when you book your parking.


How do I pay if I do not have pre-booked parking?

With a ticket
Take a ticket at the gate before you enter. Drive in and park. Save the ticket – you pay it when you return from your journey or when you exit the parking facility using a payment card.
You can also pay when you depart for your journey. When you return, you insert the paid ticket in the automated payment machine at the gate.

Payment card
Register your car using your payment card right at the gate before you enter the parking facility. You then pay using your card when you return from your journey, either at an automated payment machine in the terminal or at the exit gate.


Can I get a receipt afterwards?

Your booking confirmation is your receipt. If you didn't save it, contact customer service at 010-109 68 00 or parkering@swedavia.se and they'll help you.


I paid at the exit even though I had pre-booked, what do I do now?

Contact our customer service at 010-109 68 00 or by e-mail and they will help you. You can also fill in the form and send it to parking@swedavia.se.


Entry and exit

What do I do when I get to my parking area?
  • Check that you are at the car park which you have booked.
  • Drive up to the barrier and wait while the system reads and identifies your vehicle's registration number. Once the booking is identified, an entry ticket is automatically produced and the barrier lifts up. Alternatively, scan the QR code against the QR reader.
  • Do not press for the ticket since your ticket is produced automatically once the system has identified your registration number.
  • Should something to the contrary happen, press the button with the telephone symbol on it and wait for assistance.

In case of problems or uncertainty about how it works, press the helpline button on the left above the yellow ticket insert.


What do I do if I have booked parking but the sign at the entrance indicates the area is full when I arrive?

If you have booked a space, then you always have access to the parking area you booked, even if the area is full for other people who want to park.


What happens if I park in the wrong area?

Then you are charged the regular price for the area you parked in. So you should be very careful about checking that you are in the right parking area. Feel free to contact Customer Service using the intercom at the entrance to confirm that you have come to the parking area you booked. Then give the name of the parking area you booked a space in.


Can I leave the parking lot and then drive back in?

No, your booking is only made for one continuous parking. You cannot leave the parking lot and then drive back again on the same booking. Once you leave the parking lot your booking ends.


Booking information

Is there VAT information on my booking confirmation?

Information for accounting purposes and VAT is included in the booking confirmation. If you do not have a confirmation or need more information, you can contact customer service at +46 (0)10-109 68 00 or parkering@swedavia.se.


Parking for people with reduced mobility

Can I book a parking space for people with reduced mobility?

No, people who have a parking permit for reduced mobility have an opportunity to park near the terminal.

How safe are Swedavia´s parking lots?

All parking lots are checked by security guards around the clock. Furthermore, Swedvia employees move about the parking lots daily.
