Göteborg Landvetter gets new non-stop service to Antalya with SunExpress
The range of new destinations on offer from Göteborg Landvetter Airport continues to expand. For the summer 2019 timetable, SunExpress will launch its first direct route from Göteborg Landvetter to the Turkish holiday destination of Antalya. Travel to Turkey has seen sharp growth over the past year.
The Turkish carrier SunExpress is now launching its first direct route from Göteborg Landvetter. The carrier will offer non-stop service to Antalya during the summer season, with Sunday departures. Located in southwest Turkey on the Mediterranean Sea, Antalya is a popular holiday destination for tourists who want sun and swimming.
“In the past year, travel to Turkey has increased 18 per cent from Göteborg Landvetter. So we are really happy about the new direct route to Antalya and pleased to welcome SunExpress to our airport. The new air link also makes travel easier for people living in Turkey, who will now be able to fly conveniently to Gothenburg to visit friends and family,” said Charlotte Ljunggren, Airport Director at Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
Antalya is the biggest Turkish destination from Göteborg Landvetter. The new direct route will operate on Sundays from May 26 to October 27, 2019. SunExpress already flies from Stockholm Arlanda to Antalya, Izmir and Konya.
