Now all travelers in Terminal 5 at Stockholm Arlanda Airport can enjoy an art experience inspired by the Swedish winter and the Baroque period. Alexia Sinclair, the Australian photographer behind this series of photos, gives life to the interiors in Skokloster Castle through her photo exhibition "A Frozen Tale."

In her series of photos "Frozen Tale," the Australian photographer weaves a story around SkoklosterCastle. It depicts Sweden's golden era, when the country was a great power, and famous visitors to the castle at that time, such as Queen Christina.Ms Sinclair was fascinated by this ancient, venerable castle, which is located on a peninsula surrounded by frozen Lake Mälaren, and carried out her photo project during the winter of 2013.

- There are probably not a lot of people who know that one of Sweden's finest castles from the country's 'Great Power period' is located some 40 kilometres from Arlanda. We are pleased to be able to give our passengers a wonderful art experience, while at the same time more visitors have the opportunity to discover Skokloster Castle. Through these pictures, the castle is brought to life in a very exciting way, says Kjell-Ã…ke Westin, Airport director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

- I’m thrilled with the opportunity to exhibit this body of work so close to its birth-place. I can only hope the viewers at Arlanda will enjoy the work as much as I had creating it. Skokloster Castle is an astonishing Swedish treasure and I hope to return soon, possibly in the Summer, says artist Alexia Sinclair.

The exhibition "A Frozen Tale" runs from February 18th – April 20th and is displayed in the Terminal 5 baggage hall at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
