Stefan Stenberg new CEO of Swedavia Real Estate
Stefan Stenberg has been named the new CEO of Swedavia Real Estate, which develops and administers commercial properties at and in the vicinity of Swedavia’s airports. He will assume the position in May.
Real Estate is a rapidly growing operating segment at Swedavia that includes major development projects now under way, primarily at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport, where new hotels, office buildings and logistics parks are taking shape.
“Real estate operations are increasingly important to Swedavia. By developing hotels, offices and other commercial properties adjacent to our airports, we enhance the role of these airports as attractive meeting places while helping to finance their development,” says Karl Wistrand, deputy CEO of Swedavia and acting director of the Group’s Facilities and Systems unit.
Today Stefan Stenberg is head of Asset Management and Portfolio at Swedavia Real Estate. He has many years of experience in the real estate sector, including as head of real estate at NCC and at Castellum/Brostaden. Stefan Stenberg will succeed Karl Wistrand, who has been CEO of Swedavia Real Estate since 2013.
