Norwegian Air Shuttle is new tenant in Office One venture at Stockholm Arlanda
Another tenant is preparing to move into the newly built Office One complex at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Swedavia has signed a five-year lease with the airline Norwegian Air Shuttle (Norwegian) for office space covering more than 800 square metres. The planned move will be in June 2019.
Norwegian is moving its Swedish administrative operations into the new Office One complex, located right next to the terminals and SkyCity at Stockholm Arlanda. Office One has some 15,000 square metres of floor space and is Swedavia’s biggest investment to date in office properties in areas close to its airports. The building was inaugurated in May 2019.
“It is with great pride that we welcome Norwegian, one of our biggest airline customers, to Office One. We are proud to be able to offer growth opportunities in the form of attractive office space close to the terminals to our airport partners. Effective transport links, given the property’s location at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, combined with flexible office solutions provide added value, which is increasingly in demand,” says Karl Wistrand, deputy CEO of Swedavia and acting director of the Group’s Facilities and Systems corporate unit.
Other tenants at Office One include United Spaces, one of the Nordic region’s leading players in co-working; Dovista Sverige, one of Sweden’s leading window manufacturers; Babcock Scandinavian AirAmbulance, the biggest air ambulance company in the Nordic region; and the express delivery company Jetpak.
Office One is located in the heart of the new airport city now taking shape at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. In the same district, one of the largest airport hotels in the Nordic region is under construction and will open in 2020. Other buildings are planned close to the terminals, as part of the development to make Stockholm Arlanda Airport the leading airport in the Nordic region.
