Consultation for new airport charges soon to begin

The yearly process for new airport charges will begin in September. The start of the process is preceded by a Consultation Pre-Meeting where Swedavia will present its planned proposals for structural changes to its price list, on which airport users are invited to provide feedback.

Swedavia welcomes all airport users operating at Swedavia Airports to participate in the consultations. All meetings will be arranged digitally, with an opportunity for voluntary physical on-site representation in Consultation Meeting 1.

The meeting dates during 2025 are as follows:

11 June 2025, 09.00 – 12.30 (CEST)

Consultation Meeting 1
11 September 2025, 10.00 – 16.30 (CEST)

Consultation Meeting 2
15 October 2025, 13.00 – 16.30 (CEST)

The Consultation Framework, including Swedavia’s initial proposal, will be sent latest on 31 August 2025 to registered consultation participants. Following the consultations, Swedavia plans to make a decision on Airport Charges valid from 1 January 2026.

Registration must be completed latest 1 day before the meeting for digital participation. Any participants willing to participate on-site for Consultation Meeting 1 must register their participation latest on 14 August 2025 for guaranteed seat.

In addition to the central consultations, Swedavia hosts local airport user committee meetings (AUC) continuously throughout the year. The following meetings are planned for 2025:
